Asian Dub Foundation wants to collaborate with YOU

Asian Dub Foundation, featured on The Rough Guide To Asian Underground, are a distinctive meld of hard ragga-jungle rhythms, indo-dub basslines, searing sitar- inspired guitars and ‘traditional’ sounds gleaned from their parents’ record collections, shot through with fast-chat conscious lyrics. Most importantly, they are looking to collaborate with YOU. The release of a new mobile app will enable fans to collaborate with them on one of their future songs. Initially available for Android users, the app enables you to record and share sound samples, as well as providing you with all the latest ADF news.

The ADF will go through all the samples that are submitted (by June 2012) and select as many as possible for use on a future track. So why not share a sample of something that inspires you: it could be anything from birdsong in a forest, the sound of waves on the beach, a car engine or even your housemate whistling. Whatever it is that inspires you in your daily life they want you to share it.
