If you enjoyed dancing at WOMAD to Bomba Estéreo, here is an interesting new side project from lead singer Liliana Saumet. Under the new alter-ego Leidi Li, she has released a track called Maté A Mi Novio (I Killed My Boyfriend). The song is considerably more down-tempo than Bomba Estéreo, a band founded in Bogotá, Columbia in 2001 that describe their music as 'Electro Vacilón' or 'Electro tropical'. Liliana Saumet has launched a promising solo career - lets hope that it does not share her boyfriend's fate.
