On Thursday 15 May, Canada Water Culture Space in London, is hosting a mesmerising performance by the group SANS, existing of multi-instrumentalist Andrew Cronshaw, Finnish singer Sanna Kurki-Suonio, reeds player Ian Blake, and Tigran Aleksanyan, Armenian master of the voice-like reed pipe, the duduk. The quartet draws on their different but remarkably compatible traditions, creating a subtle but powerful musical experience. Featuring prominently in their performances are the ancient Karelian songs that became Finland’s Kalevala, the sweeping melodies of Armenia and English folk song.

They cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash or other tickets. The evening will start at 7.45 pm and comprise of two sets of around 50 mins each, with an interval of 15-20 minutes.
