Peace & Rhythm: New Record Label By Rough Guides Compiler

Good news! Our friend and Rough Guide compiler Pablo Yglesias a.k.a. DJ Bongohead has set up his own vinyl record label, Peace & Rhythm! (find them on facebook here). The album release party of Peliroja's new 7 inch, Situaciones happened in New York City last Wednesday, which is one of Peace & Rhythm's first releases.

What to expect from this new label? Mix funk, world & jazz, add vinyl to it and there you have it: Peace & Rhythm, glorious independent music on limited edition vinyl, a company solely run by DJs. peace&rhythm

Besides his regular vinyl spins as DJ Bongohead, Pablo Yglesias is also a graphic designer and designed the Peace & Rhythm logo. He is a writer and historian with endless enthusiasm and knowledge of global funkiness.
